(obscure reference to "Life Goes On" series in which Tardy (or whatever the guys name is) enters a talent contest with a rap act of 'Fight the Power'. It scarred me. A grown man with downs singing 'Fight the Power'. I guess it wasn't so much the sentiment that bothered me as the..... I don't know, but something about it disturbed me to no end, possibly the fact that it was orchestrated by mass media, who knows.
